Post-adoption home visit.

Tomorrow is our second post adoption visit. I am hoping it will not be as long as the first visit which was three hours. Yes, I said three hours. uh! The second post adoption visit is suppose to begin at 10:00am however, that is Carson's nap time...and boy does he get fussy if he does not take a morning nap. I am not going to stress about it. What will be, will be.

WOW!!! 3 hours. I have my first post placement on the 16th. I will die if it last 3 hours. You 2 look great together.

THREE HOURS????????? UGH!! Ours were 30 minutes tops. She only cared about if he had been sick, his height and his weight. Then, the reports were filled with inaccuracies. To the point that I was referred to as another person. But, we are done now.

Hope it is shorter. Scheduling around naps is tough. Maybe he will be distracted with someone new.

Let us know how it goes

I will add it to my prayer list...oft times the Holy Spirit wakes me up in the night to pray for people (I started a Prayer Request Sunday at my blog...as I thought I could cover more ground for Him ;-) So excited to hear what He is doing in peoples lives!

I will pray now and through the night for your visit.

be blessed and don't choose any anxiety...babies fuss and cry...excuse yourself and put him down for a nap- let the social worker know that he needs a nap and that after he is 'seen' he might go lay down for his normal nap.

(not like Carson will be answering questions or taking an essay or multiple choice test right ;-)

I totally echo Kimmie. Your case worker will expect you to take care of C's needs. You are such a good mom. That picture just oozes with love.
I recently taught this lesson to my youth group about replacing worry with prayer and then just stepping out of God's way to let Him do His thing. I think you are a gerat example of that. Can't wait to hear how it goes.
