I can not believe I left you behind....

Friday night Jonathan and I went to a surprise party at the Four Season Hotel in Phila. with my cannon camera in hand. We enjoyed talking with friends and taking photos of the evening. After the cocktail hour we were escorted into a beautiful dining hall for a lovely meal. While being seated I placed my handbag and camera on the floor next to my chair. Those who really know me will understand the next part... It was 9:30pm and I had enough and was ready to go home (we had an hour drive). We said our goodbye and I grabbed my stuff and we drove home. The following afternoon I thought, OMG where is my camera? We searched the car and house numerous times. I looked in the car a dozen times hoping it would just show up. NOPE! Jonathan called the hotel a few times to no avail. I can not believe I could be so careless. What the heck!! I keep thinking of my camera and photos being with someone else. I am not the best photo taker however I was learning. I loved that camera. It had so many features on it that I just began to explore.
Whoever has my camera please give it back to me....please. In the meantime, I have to buy another camera. UGH!

You took my parking space at church

One day, a man went to visit a church, He got there early, parked his car and got out. Another car pulled up near the driver got out and said, " I always park there! You took my place!" The visitor went inside for Sunday School, found an empty seat and sat down. A young lady from the church approached him and stated, "That's my seat! You took my place!" The visitor was somewhat distressed by this rude welcome, but said nothing.

After Sunday School, the visitor went into the sanctuary and sat down. Another member walked up to him and said, " That's where I always sit! You took my place!" The visitor was even more troubled by this treatment, but still He said nothing.

Later as the congregation was praying for Christ to dwell among them, the visitor stood up, and his appearance began to change. Horrible scars became visible on his hands and on his sandaled feet. Someone from the congregation noticed him and called out, "What happened to you?" The visitor replied, as his hat became a crown of thorns, and a tear fell from his eye, "I took your place."

missing something...

I have never been a content person. I struggle and think about, what is life all about? Is this it? There has to be more. What am I missing?
I look at other people and wonder do they think the same way or do they have what I am missing? How do I know what they have if I am not sure what I missing? Its a daily struggle. Sure, I pray about it but not everyday or every week. Am I alone on this one?

Tickets are bought

and we are heading to Guatemala (for good) oops I meant in July for seven days. I feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning. July can not come fast enough... There are ten of us going to Guatemala to work with Bethel Ministries. We are building a home, doing wheelchair and food distribution, working at HP and whatever else the Lord has in store for us. My mind and thoughts are filled with the scenery of beautiful Guatemala. I can not wait...

Who is this little boy sleeping in the bed?

I love to watch Carson sleep. However the other morning, I looked at him and thought to myself...where the heck did my baby go? He looked so grown up laying in the bed. As I watched him sleep I was thinking how blessed I am to have him in my life. I can not imagine my life without being his Mommy.

My sweet little boy

is starting to become a little mouthy. I am hoping its a phase as he is spending most of dinner time in his bedroom. Why? Because, Carson is using words like, stupid, butt, hate and rude... All the words except butt are said on Charlie Brown which he watches all the time. So, did I create this little mouthy boy by letting him watch the show? Anyway, Carson and I had a talk about potty mouth and he is going to "try" not to use those words. We agreed that if he continues to use potty mouth words his Charlie Brown DVD's will be given to the trash truck driver.

Yes, that sweet little boy says potty words... hard to believe?!

some place to go

Carson thinks Joey flies every plane in the sky. Today as we were walking into the house after school a plane flies by. Carson yells, Uncle Joey come back and see me. Of course the plane kept flying. Carson dropped his head and said in a very sad tone, I guess he has some place to go.

In a rush

Yesterday morning I was running late (as usually) so I carried Carson down two flights of stairs to his preschool. As I began walking down the steps with Carson on my hip, he said, Mommy, you are hurting my wabee (his private part). The little girl in front of us said, to her Mom, he has a RABBIT!

What a beautiful Weekend!

Saturday we spent the majority of the day outside. We (I) stained the front porch while Jonathan was pointing out where I missed certain spots.LOL Jonathan and Carson raked leaves and cleaned up from the awful snow storm we had a few weeks ago. I did not want the sun to go down as it was so wonderful to be outside enjoying the warm weather and bright sunshine.

Sunday following church we went to the local nursing home and did some volunteer work with other church members. After our volunteer work, Shauna and I rushed to a baby shower and then home so Jonathan and I could go grocery shopping. Phewww what a day!

Besides books, puzzles and cars

Carson's other love is the Wii. His new "favorite game" is Mario Cart. We have to put time limits on the games as he will sit for hours and play.
I am not really complaining since I LOVE a good video game. HAHA

Did you see that Mommy!?

Saturday night we went to the circus in Philadelphia. We all enjoyed the two hours of entertainment. Carson kept saying, Mommy, did you see that? Look Mommy! This is so great! At the end of the circus Carson added, can we see it again, Mommy? I loved it!
