ch ch ch changes

go ahead sing the song...
Anyway, power rangers have left our house altogether and we are seeing changes in Carson's behaviour. He is not jumping on the furniture, karate kicking everyone and everything, ect. This change has not been easy for Carson as he sometime begs to watch it. However we are being strong with our 'No's'. We still have away to go with his strong willed behaviour but we are making strides.

Sometimes it is scary what TV/video games can do to our children. I have to be very careful about how much/what Reese plays on the wii or ipod. He gets too consumed and doesn't have a shut off!!

Is your camera broken ;) Miss seeing your cuties!!

It is hard but it sounds like you are making some good changes! I had to stop one of mine from watching America's Funniest Home Videos for a while, her favorite show (and one of the few she was allowed to watch) because she would try some of those stunts at school! (And they weren't funny when she did them...) It is hard being a parent!

we coudln'tlet Maya watch the national geographic lions and tigers videos she loved. I refuse to watch them I can't satnd watching the way nature works, but regardless she woudl get way out of control as well. We were out of control yesterday and even a long bike ride didn't quite cure it.

I think you are doing great!! I had to get rid of Sponge Bob because of Maya calling everyone stupid.

I am so glad I started blogging again. Just added a few more pics. I promise to catch up.

Way to go! It's a tough thing to do, but if you don't start now - you will never start! I must admit that is one mistake my husband and I have made is not saying "No" soon enough to those type of things. However, one thing that has worked is www.accountablekids.com. It's a self monitoring program that takes some of the weight off of you and onto the child and teaches them responsability. Hope you are doing well!
