My brother who resides in Reston Va. was home for a week. Carson and I had so much fun with him. We had a week filled with swimming, family dinners, boardwalk trips, talks and of course our normal political debates.
We love and miss you Joey!

Annual Summer Payne Party 2008
My primary love language is 'quality time'. I love spending quality time with family and friends. So needless to say, this weekend was filled with family and friends gathering together for our annual summer party, boardwalk trip, volleyball games and old time stories. Carson and I are so blessed to have such a wonderful and supportive family and friends.
Dear Lord,
Thank you for providing Carson and I with such a great family. Yes, we may have disagreements at times but, you are there to help mend the hurt feelings. Thank you for bringing us all together, keeping us safe, and blessing us beyond belief. Lord, please hold our family close to your heart.
In your name,
Amen

Cowboy Babe
Yesterday afternoon I walked into the living to find cowboy Carson riding his horse. He loves to put on his cowboy garb 'all by himself'.

I see you...
One of our favorite places to visit is the Cape May County Zoo. Carson and I could spend hours looking at all the animals however, we both love watching the gariaff's.

Why God Made Little Boys
Why God Made Little Boys
God made a world out of His dreams,
of magic mountains, oceans and streams,
Prairies and plains and wooded land.
Then paused and thought
I need someone to stand, on top of the mountains,
to conquer the seas, explore the plains
and climb the trees.
Someone to start out small and grow,
sturdy and strong like a tree and so
He created boys, full of spirit and fun
To explore and conquer, to romp and run
With dirty faces, and banged up chins
With courageous hearts and boyish grins.
And when He had completed the task He'd begun,
He surely said, "That's a job well done."

I had to take a double look....
Carson is that really you? What the heck happened to my little bitty baby boy? Last night on the way home from the Ocean City boardwalk Carson decided he wanted to have a photo shoot. Everytime he would stike a pose he would yell, Momma, Momma, and Jonathan would snap a photo. As Jonathan and I were viewing the photos on the digital camara I had to take a double look at how big Carson looks.
