melt down city

Last night Carson had a hour melt down (Yes, a full blown hour)at bed time. In the course of his temper he said to me, "Mommy, I do not want to be in your heart anymore!"

Ugh! That is terrible! It's so hard to know what to do when they are that upset! A couple weeks ago in the middle of a tantrum, my little guy said "I don't like mommy!"

Ouch. It was on Easter Sunday several years ago when our bio. son told me in anger that he didn't love me or something similar to that. I cried. A lot. I just try to remember, this must be a little insight into how God must feel. I don't say, "I don't love you..." but do I live like that sometimes? Sorry, I am in a reflective mood tonight...
