Pre-winter blues

Thanks to all my fellow blogger friends for checking on me. I am sorry if I have not returned your emails or phone calls. For the past several years around the 'fall back time change' I have dealt with pre-winter blues. So needless to say, this year is no different. I have been trying very hard not to become blue, however, my mind can play some awful tricks on me. If I was not such a family girl, I would move some place warm and sunny year around.

I am right there with you. I just told family the other day that if it wasn't for them I would be off to FL to live.
Hugs my friend.

Hello friend! - January is just around the corner ...so excited to get to see you guys once again!! How long are you planning on being here?

When I left Guate (here in Tx for a month fundraings and tying up some loose ends), Alex wasn't doing well at all. Really just fading...it's been really, really hard to watch - someone asked about him at my church the other day and I just broke down then and there - poor woman didn't know what to do with me! =) ... right now the best bet would be to get him into Malnutrition ...but that's like pulling teeth - the hospital isn't proactive at all in the lives of the orphans ...seeing as how they really don't matter anyway, right? - SO ...we're fighting for him. he either needs to go to MN or he needs to go be with the Lord. - because where he is...just isn't good. - so pray with us ...Alex has touched countless lives - I wish he knew and could understand the impact he's had on us all. - all my love. looking forward to January!! =)

I understand what you are dealing with...it is hard. This is a hard time of year. The time change is very hard for me...I don't like it to be dark at 5:30. Anyway, hope things are going well otherwise.

You know I am right there with you. I love you and am praying for you. Call me anytime - day or night - and remember that when your head is hanging down low, it is resting in the lap of Jesus. Isn't that a nice thought. Not to sound silly, but I often imagine that I am resting my head on his shoulder when things get to be too much.

Love,
Becca

PS - Tell JK I said "Na, Na, Na, Boo, boo!" - my yard sign was right - Obama won!! Hope we can still be friends. (And you know I am kidding!)

PS again - Dick emailed me and said that Perla is as fat as can be!! Imagine that angel in your arms!!
