Today I got to spend the whole day with my Dad. My Dad and I traveled to Dover Delaware to shop for a new horse trailer. I throughly enjoyed the drive however our 'talks' top it all. I have always been able to talk with my Dad about anything and everything. He is the type of Dad who simply understands... He listens without judging, he gives his opinion when asked, he makes me laugh, he tells me the truth if I like it or not, but most of all he is my Dad and I love him.

He is a cleaner!
Carson loves to clean. He even cleans under the refrigerator without asking him to. Now- that's a keeper!

FFF- Then and Now
The first time I saw my favorite little boy. I knew it was love at first sight.
However I never realized I could love my favorite little boy so much.

Guess where I am going in eight months?
A place where we fell love...
A place that holds a special part in our hearts...
A place where we wonder how the children are doing...
A place that many of us can not 'thank enough' for giving us life again...
A place where dreams do or did come true for many of us...
A place that is filled with children without parents...
A place that will always be part of our vocabulary...
A place that we pray for...
A place that we have in common...
A place where we met new friends...
A place that God put on our hearts...
A place where a birthmother wanted her son or daughter to have a better life...
A place that needs our help...
A place that many of us can not stop thinking about....
A place where the Lord has called many of us to do missionary work...
Can you guess the place? More details to come...

Sleep?! What is that?!
For the past four nights Carson has slept a maxium of 4 hours a night. He is cutting a few teeth, and I believe he is coming down with an upper respiratory infection. So needless to say, I have been extremely miserable, lack of patience and wanting a good night sleep.
oh, the joys of Motherhood!

You've made a difference in my life.
The Starfish Story by Loren
One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean.
Approaching the boy he asked, "What are you doing?" The youth replied, "Throwing starfish back into the ocean." The surf is up and the tide is going out. "If I don't throw them back, they'll die."
"Son," the man said, "don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can't make a difference!"
After listening politely, the boy bent down and picked up another starfish and threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the man he said..."I made a difference for that one."
Carson- You have made the biggest difference in my life. Thank you for being my sweet baby boy! I love you more and more each second of the day.

Favorite Foto Friday
The photo below is one of my favorites. Joey my favorite brother (oops, he is my only brother) and Carson enjoyed swinging on the swingset last summer. Carson really enjoys spending time with his Uncle Joey. However, we only get to see Joey about 6 times throughout the year due to his high demanding career. Joey is a commerical pilot and lives in Reston Va. So, the times we get to spend together are very special and important to all of us.
We miss you and love you Joey AKA Jaybird!
The photo was taken July 2007.

Stroller recommendations
Can anyone recommend a light weight, compact stroller for the mall, boardwalk, etc.? I have a Maclaren MX3 for jogging and powerwalking however, its WAY to big to haul around for every day activities.
Thanks, Have a blessed day. ;)
